LORETTO, Pa. (Sept. 18, 2012) – The Saint Francis University Football team named its weekly team awards Tuesday following its come from behind win against Morehead State.
Following wins this season head coach
Chris Villarrial and his staff will name team awards singling out student-athletes who posted excellent weeks. The awards include the traditional offensive, defensive and special teams players of the week but also the awards single out members of the scout team that helped SFU to a victory.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Offensive Line – Thurston Kino (Honolulu, Hawaii/Punahou), William Houston (Easton, Pa./Wyoming Seminary Prep), Jacob Smith, Lloyd Hill (Steelton, Pa./Steelton-Highspire) and Colin Gdula (Dunlo, Pa./Forest Hills)
The entire SFU offensive line paved the way for running back Keion Wade (East Orange, N.J./East Orange) to rush for a career-high 243 yards and three touchdowns in the Morehead State victory. Additionally the offensive line provided the holes for the rushing attack as a whole to combine for a single game record 457 yards on the ground. Through three games this season, the offensive line has only surrendered three sacks.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ryan Revtai (Oakdale, Pa./West Allegheny)
SFU's starting inside linebacker was the leading tackler for the Red Flash against the Eagles Saturday. Revtai recorded seven total tackles, including three solo stops. The 6-1 senior also had two pass break ups in the win and helped the defense hold Morehead State to a scoreless second half. |

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dane Domonkos (Windber, Pa./Bishop McCort)
Domonkos returned two punts in Saturday's win, including a monster return of 32 yards, a season-high mark. That return set up the offense in Eagles' territory and led to a 24-yard touchdown pass play that put Saint Francis up by 12 late in the third quarter. |

OFFENSIVE SCOUT TEAM PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Myles Brooker (Philadelphia, Pa./Germantown)
Brooker put in extra time over the course of last week to study game film on Morehead State's leading wide receiver Donte Sawyer. Pressey ran through Sawyer's moves throughout practices leading up to the game. The Flash defense then held Sawyer to just 38 yards receiving. |

DEFENSIVE SCOUT TEAM PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nochienna Agubuzo
Agubuzo, a secondary defensive back, readied the SFU pass attack for their matchup with the Eagles. In the game, senior quarterback John Kelly (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) was very efficient through the air, going 7-of-9 for 100 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. |

HIT OF THE WEEK
Ter'Shaudney Phillips (Deland, Fla./Deland)
This week's 'Hit of the Week' comes from freshman defensive back Ter'Shaudney Phillips (Deland, Fla./Deland). In the clip, Phillips levels an Eagles receiver for one of his four solo tackles on the day. Through the team's three games played, Phillips has registered 16 total tackles and is SFU's leading tackler on passing plays.
