Loretto, Pa - Your Saint Francis Red Flash cross country squads will conclude their 2017 campaign at the ECAC & IC4A Cross Country Championships this Saturday, November 18. The championships will be contested at Van Cortlandt Park, in the Bronx, New York. Unlike previous years, during which the fields were broken into two divisions, this year's championships will be contested as one championship race for each gender. The championships kick off with the Women's ECAC Coaches' Race at 10:00 AM, followed by the Women's ECAC Championship Race at 11:15 AM, and the IC4A Men's Championship Race at 11:45 AM.
The Red Flash are coming off the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region Championships, where the men finished 15th and the women placed 21st.
Men's Overview
Representing the men's team in the IC4A Championship Race (8km) will be junior Keenan Walker, sophomore Landon Reed, and freshmen Colin Kelly, Ian Lauver, and Nathan Moore. Each of these five men have been among the team's top-ten throughout the season. Also racing in the championship will be freshman Glenn McGee and junior Brendan Hinds.
Women's Overview
Ten women will represent the Red Flash in the ECAC Championship Race (5km). junior Angel Barber, senior Hannah Dorian, sophomore Catie Jaskowak, freshman Hannah Jones, senior Morgan Kiebler, senior Danae Peters, sophomore Laura Roth, junior Hannah Weber, freshman Taya Whitfield, and freshman Madison Wright.
In the team's last outing, Kiebler led the squad, finishing 80th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region.
Junior Kayla Brennan, freshman Emma Gentile, senior Sarah Kutz, freshman Ashley Lafferty, freshman Nicole Neborg, and senior Lynnsey Ohm will represent the Red Flash in the ECAC Coaches' Race (5km).
