Over the course of the week, sophomore standout Alli Williams stole the show once again for the Red Flash. The Altoona, Pa. native turned in back-to-back 25-point efforts to carry SFU to its first two wins of the season. Williams averaged a double-double in victories over Akron and Bucknell, supplying 25.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 4.5 steals per contest. The 6-foot sophomore shot 55 percent (16-of-29) from the floor and 85 percent (17-of-20) from the charity stripe. With the Flash trailing by one in overtime at Akron, Williams drew a foul with four seconds remaining and calmly sunk the two subsequent free throws to lift the two-time defending NEC champions to their first win of the season. Williams kept her hot hand as the Flash capped Thanksgiving Week by hosting Bucknell. The Keystone State product accounted for a double-double, her first of the season, of 25 points and 14 rebounds in a 70-53 triumph. For her performances, Williams was named Choice Hotels NEC Player of the Week.
