Nickia Gibbs continued the strong play showcased in the later part of the 2011 calendar year totaling 33 points over the past week. The junior guard put up her second best point performance of the season at Saint Joseph's when she collected 20 in the loss. When the team traveled to face Coppin State, Gibbs dished out a season-high five assists in helping the Red Flash to its fifth win of the young season. In two games, the Greenbelt, Md. native hit 9-of-12 shots from the foul line, picked up seven rebounds, registered eight assists and recorded two steals.
