Junior Alicia Ford had a big day in the pool Saturday afternoon, doing her part in leading the Red Flash past Youngstown State 144-110. Ford, along with three of her swimming counterparts, took the top spot in the 200 medley relay with a swim of 1:50.49. The Whitney Point, N.Y. native added two more wins to her ever-growing list of accomplishments, capturing the 50 and 100 free events with times of 24.38 and 52.78, respectively. Her mark in the 50 was .03 seconds off her own pool record time. Ford earned Northeast Conference Swimmer of the Week honors for her weekend performance for the second time this season and fifth time in her career.
