At the ECAC Championships in Boston, Mass. over the weekend, Keishana LaRose won her heat in the 400-meter prelims with a time of 55.09. The mark ranked as the second best in the field and qualified the junior for Sunday's final in the event. In the finals, LaRose picked up a third-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a season-best time 54.69. LaRose was the only Northeast Conference athlete to make the final the junior missed a career-best in the event by .13 seconds and a career-best indoors by just .05 seconds.
