Hannah Kutny was named the Molten Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week after her performance over the weekend. The outside hitter recorded 35 kills in two matches at the Highlander Invitational at Radford University. SFU went 2-1 in the tournament. Kutny had 15 kills against Murray State en route to 3-2 victory. Against The Citadel, Kutny registered 20 kills and hit .385 in another 3-2 win. She led all Red Flash players in kills in the tournament, recorded a .324 hitting percentage and averaged 3.18 kills per set. The 20 kills versus the Bulldogs are the most kills by a SFU player in 2012.
