Robert Smith racked up a SFU high 10 tackles in a 10-3 win over Robert Morris Saturday while also picking up a sack and a half against the Colonials. The effort by the redshirt-junior spearheaded a Red Flash defensive effort that held Robert Morris to just three points, the lowest total for a Colonial squad in 19 games against the Red Flash. Robert Morris drove inside the SFU 30-yard line five times Saturday but only came away with three points on the day. In addition to the two sacks by the Red Flash defense, SFU also picked up a pair of quarterback hurries and forced two turnovers, both coming inside the SFU 30-yard line. Additionally Smith picked up National Honorable Mention Defensive Lineman of the Week honors from the College Football Performance Awards.
