Shelby Derr had a breakout performance over the weekend at the KU Fall Baker Invite and helped lead the Red Flash to capturing the overall team title. Derr recorded an all-tournament team worthy day during the first day on Saturday and followed that up Sunday by finishing traditional game play as the top individual. The rookie threw all five of her traditional games with scores above 200 and averaged 235.6 for the day. Additionally, Derr rolled a 278 in her first game Sunday, the high game of the tournament for any individual and recorded a total pinfall of 1,178.
