Marc Honore will go down as one of the best players in Saint Francis men’s volleyball history. He was named the 2007 EIVA Player of the Year, an AVCA first-team All-American, and selected to the EIVA first-team in his final three seasons. He left as the program’s all-time career leader in hitting percentage (.466), kills (1,148), and service aces (91). He now sits third in service aces and fourth in kills in program history. In a single game, he registered 29 kills against George Mason on Apr. 27, 2006, and 28 kills against Santa Cruz on Mar. 2, 2007, for the top two marks when he left and now sits fifth and seventh all-time. He also holds the program’s single-season top two spots for hitting percentage (.524, 2007) and (.502, 2006). His 425 kills were the most in team history when he left and now sits fourth all-time. Since graduating from Saint Francis, Honore has enjoyed a successful professional playing career overseas.
