Bowling Goes Undefeated at Day One of Golden Bear Classic

Sinking Springs, PA – The Saint Francis University bowling team went a perfect 5-0 on their first day of competition at the Golden Bear Classic in Sinking Springs, PA. The Red Flash gathered wins over LIU Post, Adelphi Chestnut Hill, Caldwell, and Robert Wesleyan.
The Red Flash bowled on all cylinders in the first day of competition, rolling a perfect 300 game in the win over LIU Post while also completing 5066 total-pin falls which marks the 4th highest one day total in program history. Senior
Amanda Balas (Level Green, Pa./Penn-Trafford) posted a 23.34 baker frame average which is the highest baker average for a one day performance. Senior
Sarah Littleton (Round Lake Beach, Ill./Grayslake North) and
Haley Carroll (Williamsville, N.Y./Williamsville South) also contributed in the team's success as Littleton bowled a 20.48 baker average while Carroll chipped in with a 19.94 average.
