OLEAN, N.Y. – The Saint Francis men's and women's tennis teams competed at St. Bonaventure on Sunday. The Red Flash women (0-2) were edged by the St. Bonaventure women (1-2) by a 4-3 margin while the Red Flash men (0-4) fell to the St. Bonaventure men (0-2) by a 6-1 margin.

SINGLES
The Red Flash earned all three of its points at singles. Freshman
Dominique Yeo picked up her first collegiate win at No. 2 singles, beating SBU's Roque in straight sets, 6-2 in each set.
Romina Cutipa also won in straight sets against St. Bonaventure's Stanley, 6-2 and 6-1, at No. 3 singles. Freshman
Marie Discini earned her first collegiate win as well, beating SBU's Velilla – 4-6, 7-5, 10-6.
At No. 4 singles,
Anouk Ma-Ajong won the first set against Gunay 6-2 but then fell 6-1 in sets two and three.
Nagisa Miyake fell 6-2 and 6-1 at No. 1 singles against Franco.
DOUBLES
The Bonnies won both doubles matches to earn the doubles point. Miyake and Ma-Ajong lost to St. Bonaventure's Franco and Roque at No. 1 doubles, 7-4. At No. 2 doubles, Yeo and Discini fell to SBU's Stanley and Gunay by a 6-3 margin.

SINGLES
Christian Banti earned the Red Flash's lone point with 6-2 and 6-4 set wins against Flores at No. 5 singles to take the match.
At No. 2 singles,
Andrew Teixeira won the first set 7-6 but dropped a tight contest to Rivolo, losing sets two and three – 6-2 and 10-6.
Samuel Ghigiarelli also pushed his singles match to three sets but fell to SBU's Sanchez at No. 6 singles, 6-7, 6-2, 8-10. At No. 4 singles,
Daniel Vinces lost to Marrero in three sets – 4-6, 6-2, 1-6.
Sebastian Pinos lost at No. 1 singles to St. Bonaventure's Estevarena 6-2 and 6-1. At No. 3 singles,
Jordi Garcia fell to Paardekooper 6-7, 4-6.
DOUBLES
St. Bonaventure picked up the doubles point with wins in all three doubles matches. Garcia and Ghigiarelli pushed their No. 3 doubles match to extra but ultimately fell 7-6 to the Bonnies' Flores and Marrero. Pinos and Teixeira fell to Estevarena and Paardekooper at No. 1 doubles, 6-3. At No. 2 doubles, Banti and Vinces lost to Rivolo and Blakeley 6-1.
UP NEXT
The Red Flash men and women travel to Kentucky and Ohio next weekend for a trio of matches. SFU faces Thomas More on Friday at 7 p.m., Northern Kentucky on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and Dayton on Sunday at 10 a.m.
