CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Saint Francis men's and women's tennis teams competed against Northern Kentucky on Saturday. The Red Flash women (1-3) fell to NKU (2-1) by a 5-2 margin while the Red Flash men (1-5) dropped a 6-1 match against the NKU men (3-0).

SINGLES
Dominique Yeo and
Anouk Ma-Ajong each won their singles match to earn the Red Flash points. Yeo took No. 2 singles in straight sets, beating NKU's Rozin 6-4, 7-6. At No. 4 singles, Ma-Ajong dropped the first set 6-4 but recovered to win sets two and three against Watton – 6-2, 6-3.
Romina Cutipa dropped a three-set match to the Norse's Kothakota at No. 3 singles – 6-3, 6-7, 3-6. At No. 1 singles,
Nagisa Miyake fell to Koo 6-0 and 7-5.
Marie Discini dropped her No. 5 singles match against NKU's Gray in straight sets – 6-4, 6-0.
DOUBLES
Cutipa and Yeo beat Gray and Clark at No. 2 doubles by a 6-4 margin. Miyake and Ma-Ajong fell 6-2 at No. 1 doubles to NKU's Koo and Rozin. The Norse won the third doubles match by default to earn the doubles point.

SINGLES
Samuel Ghigiarelli picked up the lone Red Flash point by winning his No. 6 singles match against NKU's Hidalgo in three sets – 6-2, 6-7, 6-1.
Andrew Teixeira took his second set to extra but ultimately fell at No. 2 singles to Niehaus, 4-6, 5-7.
At No. 1 singles,
Sebastian Pinos lost to the Norse's Burnel 0-6, 2-6.
Daniel Vinces dropped his No. 3 singles match to Rodrigues 2-6 and 1-6. At. No. 4 singles,
Jordi Garcia lost both sets to NKU's Casamayor by a 6-4 mark.
Christian Banti fell at No. 5 singles to Ball, 4-6, 2-6.
DOUBLES
The Norse captured all three doubles matches to earn the point. At No. 1 doubles, Pinos and Banti fell to Burnel and Ball by a 6-3 margin. At No. 2 doubles, Teixeira and Vinces lost 6-2 against NKU's Ponomarew and McDowell. At No. 3 doubles, Garcia and Ghigiarelli dropped a 6-4 match against Niehaus and Elleman.
