EMMITSBURG, Md. – The Saint Francis men's and women's tennis teams were both edged out by Mount St. Mary's by a 4-3 margin on Sunday. The Red Flash men earned the doubles point and wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles. The Red Flash women earned victories at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles.

SINGLES
The Red Flash earned points at No. 4 and No. 5 singles with both victories coming in straight sets. At No. 4 singles,
Daniel Vinces beat MSM's Karnibad, 6-1, 6-3.
Jordi Garcia won both sets by a 6-3 mark against Huynh.
Christian Banti pushed his No. 3 singles match to three sets but ultimately fell in a close third set to the Mountaineers' Sharma. After Sharma took set one, 6-1, Banti fought back to win 7-6 in set two. MSM took the third set by a 6-4 mark to earn the point.
At No. 1 singles,
Sebastian Pinos fell to Wood, 6-2, 6-4.
Andrew Teixeira dropped both sets against MSM's Dagklis by a 6-2 margin. At No. 6 singles,
Samuel Ghigiarelli lost 6-1 in both sets against Zuccardi.
DOUBLES
Saint Francis earned the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Vinces and Pinos won at No. 2 doubles by a 7-5 margin while Garcia and Ghigiarelli won their No. 3 doubles match 7-6.

SINGLES
The Red Flash earned points at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles.
Romina Cutipa wrapped up her win at No. 3 singles first, winning in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1.
Anouk Ma-Ajong next won at No. 2 singles, beating MSM's Liang in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1.
Dominique Yeo earned the final point for Saint Francis, beating the Mountaineers' Smith in straight sets at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 7-6.
At No. 5 singles,
Marie Discini fell to Barney 6-2 in the first set before needing extra to decide the second set but ultimately losing 7-5 in set two.
Nagisa Miyake lost her No. 4 singles match, 6-0, 6-3.
DOUBLES
Cutipa and Yeo earned the decisive 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles but the Mountaineers ultimately took the doubles point as Ma-Ajong and Miyake were defeated 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
