Saint Francis extends partnership with Under Armour

BALTIMORE – The Saint Francis Department of Athletics has announced an extension of its partnership with Under Armour to serve as the official apparel provider of the Red Flash.

"We're absolutely thrilled to be extending our partnership with Under Armour/DeMans Sports to be the exclusive official outfitter and supplier of apparel, footwear and equipment for Saint Francis University Athletics," said director of athletics James Downer. "This continued agreement will further enhance our efforts of providing an optimal student-athlete experience while delivering continued opportunities to increase our brand awareness. We are proud of this affiliation and are excited that our student-athletes will continue to be outfitted by a dynamic and innovative brand such as Under Armour as they represent the Red Flash."

Saint Francis enters its seventh season wearing Under Armour apparel – a stretch in which the Red Flash has consistently represented SFU on the national stage with wins over Power 5 opponents and in trips to NCAA Championships. In 2020-21, the Red Flash wore Under Armour apparel in games against ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, and Pac-12 competition, including a pair of wins over ACC members (Pitt, Syracuse). Three SFU teams competed in NCAA Championships wearing UA gear this spring, as the Red Flash softball team competed in the Austin Regional against Texas and Oregon and student-athletes from both Saint Francis track & field teams competed at NCAA Preliminaries.

Saint Francis teams return to competition in August with men's and women's soccer, field hockey, women's volleyball, and cross country in action before the Red Flash football program will wear Under Armour under the lights in its first game at an FBS opponent on September 3 at Eastern Michigan.
