(St. George, Vt.) sits in 12th place of the Jewell hosted by Northern Kentucky thanks to a one-over par score during a continuous 36-hole first day for the Saint Francis men's golf team on Saturday.
>> Godbout finished the first 36 holes with a score of one-over par 143 thanks to an even-par opening round of 71 and a one-over par round of 72 in the afternoon's second round. The senior registered four birdies in the first round on holes nine, 10, 11, and 15, along with 11 pars, and he finished his day by carding two birdies on holes nine and 14 with 13 pars.
>> The senior has posted three-straight rounds of one-over par or better after shooting one-over par in the final round of the Battle at Rum Pointe last weekend.

Trent Meyers (Altoona, Pa.) (69th place, 160),
Hunter Jurica (Derry, Pa.) (71st place, 163),

Jackson Hoey (Sewickley, Pa.) (75th place, 168) also competed in the event as Red Flash team players.
Meyers posted nine pars in the first round and then had birdies on holes two and five, along with nine pars on the final 18 holes of the afternoon. Jurica had six pars in the first round and then shot eight shots better in the second round of the afternoon thanks to birdies on holes two and five and eight pars. McClintock had a birdie on the second hole in the first round and seven pars before carding birdies on holes three and five with six pars in the second round. Hoey carded a birdie on numbers six and 11, five pars in the first 18 holes, and seven pars on the final 18 of the day.
Alex Carr (Somerset, Pa.) (77th place, 177) competed in the event as an individual. The freshman carded a birdie on the 15 hole and seven pars and then had eight pars in the final 18 holes of the day.
Wright State leads the two-day, 54-hole event with a score of 559, 12 strokes ahead of Oakland (571). Cleveland State (576), Detroit Mercy (578), and Southern Indiana (584) round out the Top Five teams. Saint Francis sits in 11th place after posting a 319 in the first round and a 311 in the second round for a two-round score of 630.
