Gulycz And Sevison Place First At Coach Pollard Invitational

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> The Saint Francis track & field teams competed in the Moravian Coach Pollard Invitational.
>> Saint Francis claimed 25 top 10 finishes.

FLASH WOMEN NUGGETS
The women's team accumulated 10 top 10 finishes after this weekends meet.

Olivia Renk finished first in the 100 meter dash preliminaries with a time of 11.98. 

Gabriella del Pielago took second in the 400 meter dash with a finish of 58.81. 

Four Red Flash runners took top six in the 1500 meter run. Morgan McNaughton placed second with 4:36.36 which got her into the Saint Francis top 10 all time list. Following behind her was Nina Connors in fourth place (4:38.05), Rosie Gaydos in fifth (4:38.43), and Anna Quackenbush in sixth (4:41.90). 

Adraya Baxter took ninth in the 400 meter hurdle with a time of 1:07.95. 

Freshman Karsyn Ford finished eighth in pole vault with a clearance of 3.50m. Claire Henry was two placed behind her in 10th after a 3.35m reach. 

Taylor Foster placed seventh in the triple jump with a personal best of 10.87m 

FLASH MEN NUGGETS
The men's team registered 15 top 10 performances.

Collin Dreese finished fourth in the 800m with a personal best of 1:55.46.

Aaron Tressler also took fourth place but in the 5000m run with a time of 15:42.77.

Mich Brydon had his debut in the 3000 meter steeplechase. He placed seventh with a time of 10:22.05.

The Red Flash 4x400 relay team took 10th place after a 3:25.92 finish. This team consisted of Dreese, James Parmelee, Daruis Harrell, and Austin Hladek

Dylan Andrews placed fourth in pole vault with a 4.30m clearance. 

Tyler Craft took second place after a 14.53m performance during triple jump. Freshman Nehemyah Williams was directly behind him in third place with a 14.46m jump. Lastly, Braydon Beach took ninth with a 13.31m personal best. 

Clark Gulycz launched his way into first place after a 17.73m throw in shot put. Wyatt Jumper took ninth (14.01m) and Brayden Ross took 10th (13.82m).

Joseph Sevison claimed first place with a 48.62m throw in the discus championship. Cam Wagner was behind him in third place after a 46.92m throw. 

Three Red Flash placed top eight in hammer throw. Owen Degnan took fifth with a 53.18m throw. Vincent Franco placed sixth (50.86m) and Sevison took eighth (48.29m). 

Lastly, Dugan Chase finished in ninth place with a 51.89m launch in javelin.
