OPENING TEE
Saint Francis men's golf is set to compete at the NEC Championships Friday through Sunday in Ellicott City, Md., at Turf Valley Resort. Golfers will be completing 18 holes each day. Competing for the Red Flash will be Toby Webb, Hunter Jurica, Trent Meyers, Tanner Mona, Isaac Miller, and Lukas Cascino. Along with the Red Flash, Chicago State, Le Moyne, UMES, New Haven, Wagner, North Carolina Central, Howard, FDU, Binghampton, LIU, and Mercyhurst will be making their way to the tee box.Â
LAST TIME OUTÂ
Two Saint Francis men's golf teams competed at two different events on Monday. The B team competed at the Penn State Altoona Spring Invitational at Sinking Valley Golf Club in Altoona, Pa. The B team had three individuals compete including Joey Miller (20th, 79), Bryce Van Horn (34th, 83), and Caden Miller (39th, 85). Toby Webb finished the event in 74th place. The A team competed at the Muirfield Shootout hosted by Miami of Ohio in Dublin, Ohio. The Red Flash finished in 13th place with a team score of 666. The senior carded a total of 164 (79, 85). During his first round, shooting just seven over par, he tallied 11 pars and went only two over par on the back nine. During the second round, Webb recorded eight pars. Hunter Jurica finished the event in 75th place. The junior carded a total of 165 (79, 86). For his first round, Jurica tallied eight pars and two birdies. For his second round, he recorded nine pars. Also competing for the Red Flash was Trent Meyers (78th, 169), Lukas Cascino (79th, 172), Tanner Mona (80th, 174), and Isaac Miller(81st, 175). The top-five teams of the Muirfield Shootout include Kent State (579), tied for second was Michigan State, Miami of Ohio, and Eastern Michigan (580), and then Xavier took fifth (582).

Saint Francis added Lorenzo Domiano, Nick Haught, Caden Miller, Joey Miller, and Isaac Miller to the 2025-2026 roster. Â

THIRD YEAR ON DUTYÂ

Jonathan Kulas returns to the Red Flash for his third year. Kulas spent two seasons at Saint Peter's and was also the head coach at Penn State Scranton from 2019-21. Kulas was an assistant coach for both the men's and women's golf programs at Misericordia University for 11 seasons and got his start in coaching as a women's basketball assistant coach at Marywood University for the 2015-16 season.Â
