Fitzgerald hails from Mount St. Mary’s University, where she served as the captain of the track and field team. She starred in the pole vault and hurdle events, earning First Team All-NEC honors for Indoor Track & Field, and First & Second Team honors for Outdoor Track & Field. She captured Northeast Conference pole vault titles twice during her career, most recently at the outdoor championships this spring. Additionally, she received the PNC Student-Athlete Achiever of the Year at the Mount. “Given her experience within the Northeast Conference, and coming from a program that I respect so much in Mount St. Mary’s, Moriah is the perfect fit for our team and student-athletes. I’m excited for her to get started,” said Hoover.
