Tom Falbo completed his career as the head coach of the women’s bowling program at Saint Francis University after the 2017-18 season.
Falbo continued to coach his team to a high level until his final days leading the Red Flash, both in the conference and on the national stage. The Red Flash won the Northeast Conference Championship earning them the automatic qualifier bid for the NCAA Championship held in St. Louis, Missouri on April 12-14.
Falbo helped Sarah Littleton garner First Team All-NEC honors in 2017-18, along with Haley Carrol who earned Second Team All-NEC honors. Falbo also guided freshman Emma Wrenn and Britney Grey to the All-NEC Rookie Team. At the NEC Championship, Littleton, Wrenn and Kyra Udziela earned All-Tournament Team for the championship. Wrenn highlighted this group by earning MVP honors for the championship.
Falbo’s program continues to produce players who earn numerous honors and distinctions for their academic and athletic accomplishments. In 2017-18, multiple Red Flash bowlers received both USBC and NCAA Academic All-American honors, along with NEC academic honor roll status.
In just seven years at the helm, Falbo has coached his players to 62 All-Tournament selections by 16 different players, 18 tournament MVP’s, 19 NEC Rookie of the Week selections won by ten different players, and seven NEC Player of the Week selections.
Falbo is a USBC Silver Certified coach and brings 30 years of tournament level experience to Saint Francis. Falbo has shown an ability to spot and develop advanced bowling talent necessary to maintain championship-level teams.

All of them were high achievers on and off the lane, which inspired me to always want to more for them and their families. Saint Francis University is a special place and with these current players coming back next year, the future is very bright for this program for whoever will be named as the next head coach for the Saint Francis University women's bowling team. ”
Falbo is a 1984 graduate of Penn State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He resides in Altoona, Pa.
