Chris Cascino is in his fifth season of his third stint with the Red Flash and 13th overall in 2025-26. He served as the women's golf head coach from 2005-12 and 2017. S

In 2024-25, the Red Flash finished in the Top-3 of the NEC Championships for the 12th time in program history and the second time since 2010. Bryn Sorge became the first player since 2021 to finish in the Top-10 of the championships with her eighth place standing. During the Youngstown State Invitational, the Red Flash posted rounds of 303 to card the best scores since at least 2019-20. Saint Francis finished sixth and Sorge was sixth for the best team and individual finish since the Purple Eagle Invite on October 3, 2023.

Saint Francis was successful in his first go-around with the women's golf program, leading the Red Flash to two consecutive Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships (2006 & 2007). In addition, he helped Saint Francis finish in the Top-3 of the conference postseason in his first four seasons in Loretto.

Cascino had a player finish in the Top-10 at the NEC Women's Golf Championships 10 times in his nine seasons at the helm, including coaching Samantha Milosh to medalist honors in 2006 and 2007, while Ann Colligan was named the NEC Rookie of the Year in 2011 after finishing as the runner-up at the championships by two strokes. In addition, Milosh is in the Saint Francis Athletics Hall of Fame.

Before Loretto, Cascino served as a head golf coach at Conemaugh Valley School District (1998-02) in Johnstown, Pa., helping the team collect two West-Pac Championships. While in Johnstown, he led the team from a 2-16 record to only having two total losses in his last two years of coaching high school golf.  
 
Cascnio's achievements include the 2000 Greater Johnstown Golf Champion, the four-time winner of the City of Johnstown Golf Championship, and 2017 Laurel Highland's Golf Coach of the year.  
 
He also served as the president of the Greater Johnstown Golf Association and chairperson and organizer for the Saint Benedict Athletic Association's golf outing for eight years.  
 
Cascino is a 1981 graduate of The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Economics and a concentration in Business Management.  

Kirsch served as a graduate assistant coach for the Red Flash men's golf program from 2019-21, and he obtained his MBA from Saint Francis in 2021. He was an outstanding golfer at Indiana (Pa.) after being named to the All-PSAC first team as a freshman and a senior, the All-PSAC second team as a sophomore and junior, and the PSAC Freshman of the Year in 2013-14. Kirsch was the individual conference champion in 2017 and finished 33rd in the NCAA Division II National Tournament in 2015. He was also a four-time NCAA Ping All-Region honoree.
