Before SFU
Halbauer is a center from Edmonton, Canada with an impressive resume. She was a member of the 18U Canadian National Team at the Women's Youth World Championships in Serbia and the 17U Canadian National Team which won a bronze medal at the Youth Pan American Championships in Peru. Additionally, she was a member of Alberta Provincial Team Member from 2014-2017. 

Halbauer earned an array of individual honors: 2018 Western All-Star Team Selection, 2018 Western 19U Regular Season Second Top Scorer, the 2017 and 2018 Edmonton Tsunami Female Athlete of the Year, 2018 bronze medalist at 19U Canadian Nationals and the 2017 Western 16U Top Scorer National Championship League (66 goals in 19 games).
