Mitchell Zajicek

Mitch is an experienced strength and conditioning professional with more than a decade of experience working with athletes across collegiate athletics, professional human performance, military performance, and sports science.

Most recently, Mitch served as Associate Director at NY Sports Science Lab, where he worked at the intersection of performance training, sports science, athlete development, and performance testing. Prior to that, he served as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist with MedStar Health, working with athletes and clients to improve performance, strength, movement quality, and overall physical preparation.

His collegiate coaching experience includes serving as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Widener University, as well as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Utah Tech University and Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Cumberland University. He also gained experience in Division I athletics at the University at Buffalo and Robert Morris University and began his career working in collegiate football strength and conditioning at Grove City College.

In addition to his collegiate experience, Mitch has worked in military performance as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, developing training programs designed to improve strength, power, speed, durability, and readiness for high-level physical demands.

Throughout his career, Mitch has worked with athletes across a wide range of sports and performance levels. His coaching philosophy centers on a human first approach, and a consistent emphasis on long-term athletic development.

Mitch is passionate about helping athletes maximize their physical potential while building the confidence, discipline, and habits necessary to perform at their highest level.
