Paul Liebal enters his first season as color commentator on Saint Francis Football broadcasts in 2026.
Liebal graduated from Saint Francis in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management. He played linebacker for four years on the SFU football team and was a member of head coach Chris Villarrial's Northeast Conference championship team in 2022. Saint Francis posted a 9-3 record that season and advanced to the FCS Playoffs.
Liebal is a 2019 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Academy and played on both sides of the ball (running back and linebacker) during his high school career with the Marauders. He currently serves as an assistant coach at his alma mater. In 2025, Bishop Guilfoyle posted a 13-3 record and advanced to the PIAA Class A state championship game.
Liebal serves as the Director of Marketing at Mission Critical Solutions in Bedford, Pennsylvania. MCS is a leading provider of welding, machining and fabrication services in west-central Pennsylvania.
During his undergraduate career at Saint Francis, Liebal worked in SFU's Admissions Office. He provided campus tours to prospective students and their families. He also assisted with football recruiting events during his four years as a student at the University.
