LORETTO, Pa. (Jan. 11, 2013) – The Saint Francis University football team has announced the signing of Kire Worley (Richmond, Va./Fork Union Military Academy).
 
“The addition of Kire to our defensive backfield is a huge boost to our defense,” head coach Chris Villarrial said. “His size and speed make him an ideal candidate to come in and compete for a position right away.”
 
The Richmond, Va. native played most recently at Fork Union Military Academy at the defensive back position. He is the son of Robert Worley and Rosalyn Baylor and he has four siblings, Tony, Kristin, Taleiha and Nija.
 
At Hermitage High School, Worley played several positions. His senior year was cut short due to injury, but he still threw for over 400 yards and ran for another 200 yards in just four games. Worley also contributed on the defensive side, posting 20 tackles and an interception. Worley was named second-team All-Conference his senior season in 2011. Worley was ranked in the ESPN 150 in the state of Virginia for the class of 2012.
 
During his junior season, Worley threw for over 1,000 yards and ran for another 789 yards.
