Junior bowler Marissa Matassa claimed Most Valuable Player honors at the Red Flash Invitational over the weekend, ending her traditional game play with a 209 average. Her MVP status placed her at the top of the all-tournament team as well. During Saturday's individual game play she threw games of 211, 160, 187, 245 and 242. Thanks to the efforts from Matassa and the rest of the Red Flash bowling team, the squad was able to capture the team title for the first time in program history.
