Alli Williams got her sophomore campaign off to a solid start Friday night in the home opener against Duquesne. Williams shot 9-of-14 from the floor, totaling 22 points on the night and notched five steals as well. The 6'0" forward also brought in eight total rebounds during her season debut, two offensive and six defensive. From her performance against the Dukes, Williams was named Northeast Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week by College Sports Madness, who identify the highest impact players nationally – one from each conference – in its weekly feature.
