Kara Concheck

Kara Concheck has the Red Flash lacrosse program on the rise just three and a half years into her tenure. She became the program's all-time winningest coach with a win over Sacred Heart in the 2018 season finale and has won 21 games in four seasons, the most over a four-year span in program history.

Under Concheck's direction, Saint Francis has boasted one of the top offenses in the Northeast Conference.

The Red Flash ranked third in the NEC in goals per game in 2017 and 2018, averaging a tick over 12 goals per game during the span.

Concheck has developed eight NEC All-Conference selections during her tenure. In 2018, Jessica Mazzur and Peyton LeConte were named to the NEC First Team, the first time SFU has landed two players on the team in the same season. Additionally, Emileigh Scott was named to the All-Rookie Team.

Scott landed on the All-NEC Second Team in 2019 and was joined by LeConte. Freshman Autumn McHenry also earned All-Rookie honors.

Concheck coached Holly Lawrence to All-NEC Second Team honors in 2016 and 2017. Lawrence led the NEC with 50 goals in 2017.

Concheck was a four-year player at Fresno State University and graduated with a degree in Recreation Administration in 2014. Concheck was a team captain for the Bulldogs for the 2013-14 season and was named the 2014 Attacker of the Year.  She earned MPSF All-Conference Athlete honors in 2014 and was a three-time Sysco Athlete. She holds the record at FSU in goals and free position goals.

After graduating, Concheck was named the assistant lacrosse coach at Oberlin College. She helped lead the Yeowomen to a second-place finish at the NCAC Championship. While at Oberlin College, she was the women's strength trainer.
