Red Flash Women’s Soccer Suffers 1-0 Loss at CCSU

HAMDEN, Conn. (Oct. 12, 2007) – Sophomore goalkeeper Jessica Boyer (Pittsburgh, Pa/Mount Lebanon) (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Mount Lebanon) stopped five shots, but it wasn't enough as the Saint Francis women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 contest at Central Connecticut State on Friday afternoon.



The Red Flash fell behind on an Abby Graham goal at 40 minutes, 21 seconds. It was shot into the upper right corner from six yards out. Siobhan McCaffrey received an assist as it was her corner kick that led to the goal.



Saint Francis fell to 3-8-2 overall, and 0-2-1 in the Northeast Conference, with the loss. The Red Flash will try to get back on track with a Noon contest on Sunday, at Quinnipiac.
