Saint Francis Women’s Volleyball Drops Home Finale Against FDU

ORETTO, Pa. (Nov. 4, 2007) – Freshman Lindsay Malloy (Gallitzin, Pa./Penn Cambria) (Gallitzin, Pa. / Penn Cambria) hit .433 with 18 kills and 3 blocks, but the Saint Francis women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 Northeast Conference match against Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday afternoon at DeGol Arena.

Rebecca Tenney had 18 kills and 6 blocks in the Knights' 23-30, 30-21, 34-32, 30-20 victory.

The Red Flash (10-20, 4-3 NEC) won Game 1 30-23, but Fairleigh Dickinson (13-14, 4-3 NEC) rallied to win the last three games, including a pivotal 34-32 win in Game 3.

Freshman Alexa Ebert (Titusville, PA/Titusville) (Titusville, Pa. / Titusville) had a career high 51 assists and 16 digs to go along with 3 service aces, while sophomore Shirley Miller (Fairless Hills, PA/Pennsbury) (Fairless Hills, Pa. /  Pennsbury) had 14 kills, 13 digs and 4 blocks, and junior Kristin Buter (Bowie, MD/Bowie) (Bowie, Md. / Bowie) had 13 kills, 3 aces, 11 digs and 2 blocks.
