SFU Women’s Soccer Battles YSU To Scoreless Draw

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (Sept. 28, 2007) – Sophomore goalkeeper Jessica Boyer (Pittsburgh, Pa/Mount Lebanon) (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Mount Lebanon) stopped five shots, but the Saint Francis women's soccer team settled for a double overtime scoreless tie at Youngstown State on Friday night.



The Red Flash snapped a four-match losing skid with the tie, which brought their record to 3-5-1 on the season. SFU will return home to play host to the Naval Academy at 1 p.m. on Sunday. It will mark the final non-conference match of the season for SFU.



The Red Flash peppered the Penguins with 19 shots in the contest, including five from sophomore Rachael Seibert (Murrysville, Pa/Franklin Regional) (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional).



Youngstown State goalkeeper Caitlin Bodzioney stopped 11 shots in the match.
