LORETTO, Pa. (Jan. 29, 2010) -- The Saint Francis men's basketball team faces another crucial home test on Saturday evening when third-place Long Island visits DeGol Arena for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
The Red Flash are coming off a thrilling 71-63 win over St. Francis-NY on Thursday night. Saint Francis set the tone in that contest with aggressive defense in the first half, building a 21-point lead at one point, in forcing the Terriers in 15 first-half turnovers.
Long Island comes into DeGol Arena in a tie for third place in the Northeast Conference, but has dropped three of its last four games to fall to 6-3 in the league. The Red Flash dropped an 89-80 contest against the Blackbirds earlier in January in Brooklyn.
