“The score of this game is very deceiving,” said Saint Francis head coach Don Friday. “First of all, credit to Ohio and that team, they are very good and they will do well in the MAC. But I thought that we made some progress tonight. We executed very well, but some shots didn't fall for us. We got nice contributions from some younger players, and it was nice to see Will hit some shots from the outside. We will get back in the lab, and we're excited to get back home for a big game against a good Drexel club on Saturday.”
The Red Flash came into the game struggling from outside the arc at a 25.6 percent clip. However, they made 10-of-22 attempts (.455) against Ohio.
The Bobcats shot 52. 5 percent in the game, and made 15-of-29 three-point field goal attempts (.517). Ohio also had a 43-27 advantage on the glass.

Freshman Storm Stanley (Lambertville, Mich./St. Francis de Sales) (Lambertville, Mich. / St. Francis de Sales) made a baby hook shoot to tie it at 15-15 with 11:19 to go.
However, the Bobcats held Saint Francis scoreless over the next three minutes during a 12-0 run to take command. They would shoot 61.3 percent in the half, while making nine 3-pointers, to take a 51-25 lead into halftime.
The Red Flash had just three assists and 14 turnovers at the break, and shot 36.4 percent (8-of-22) from the field. Shannon had 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting.
