Red Flash's Game at Bryant to be Webcast

LORETTO, Pa. - The Saint Francis women's basketball team will play their inaugural game at Bryant University, and it will be webcast on www.northeastconference.org.  Pam Roecker and Craig D'Amico will call the game. 

Series History
The Red Flash are making their inaugeral trip to Smithfield, R.I.to face the Bulldogs at the Chase Athletic Center.  The two teams met for the first time in February of 2009, with Saint Francis taking the 80-75 win.  Bryant does not officially join the Northeast Conference until the 2012-13 season, and will not be eligible for a championship until then.  However, games vs. the Bulldogs still count in the NEC?Standings.

 Hodges Climbs the Rankings
All season long Britney Hodges (Dayton, Ohio/Mount de Chantal) has been climbing the lists in the program's history books.  The senior guard now ranks ninth all-time in scoring (1,321 points),as well as seventh in assists (361), ninth in field goals attempted (1,226) and ninth in steals (158).  Even more impressively, Hodges is second all-time in both three-point field goals (155) made and attempted (445). 

 SFU in the NEC
Though they hit a two-game skid recently, the Red?Flash are highly ranked in multiple NEC categories.  They boast the No. 2 the scoring offense (67.3 ppg), are second in 3-point field goal percentage (.370),  second in steals (9.57)?and lead the league in turnover margin (+2.68).  Individually, Britney Hodges (Dayton, Ohio/Mount de Chantal) is second in scoring with 16. 3 ppg and third in field goals made with (2.50 pg).  Samantha Leach (Mount Sterling, Ohio/Miami Trace) is third in free-throw percentage (.864).

It's Been Awhile
Allison Daly (Harrisburg, Pa./Trinity)'s 17 rebonds agains Robert Morris were not only a career high for the junior guard, tthey also marked the most rebounds in more than six years by a Red Flash player.  The last time a player had 17 or more rebounds was Jan. 8, 2006 when SFU?Great Beth Swink grabbed 17 boards.  

1,000 Point Watch
Samantha Leach (Mount Sterling, Ohio/Miami Trace) conintues to come closer and closer to her 1,000th career point.  The the Colonials may have limited her scoring on Saturday, the junior guard currently has 874 career points and is 126 from reaching the milestone.
