SFU's big win over Sacred Heart, combined with Quinnipiac's loss to Robert Morris, clinched a spot in the 2010 Northeast Conference Tournament for the Red Flash. Currently in fifth place, the Red?Flash will not know their first-round opponent until all games are completed on Saturday. The Flash are in are tied with Bryant, but because the Bulldogs cannot participate in the post season SFU?has sole posession of fifth place.
In Case of a Tie...
As of February 26, the Red Flash are in a tie for fourth place with Monmouth. If both teams win, the Hawks would get the tiebreaker after defeating the Flash twice in the regular season. Saint Francis would then take fifth place, and would take on Monmouth in the first round of the tournament.
