The Red Flash return to Loretto after a 34-day road swing to host the Quinnipiac Bobcats in the 1,000th game in program history.
Saint Francis enters Saturday's game tied for second place in the Northeast Conference with a 3-1 record. Quinnipiac, however, is one of the league's hottest teams, having won seven of its last 10. The Bobcats fell to 2-2 in the conference on Monday, dropping a, 74-64,
decision to LIU Brooklyn.
SFU is 3-1 in early league action for the second time under Susan Robinson Fruchtl. The Flash previously accomplished the feat in 2009-10, en route to an 11-7 NEC record. Last season, Saint Francis started conference play with five consecutive wins.
The Flash holds a 17-6 edge in the all-time series against QU, including the last three contests. SFU claimed the teams' only matchup a season ago, 77-64.
Quinnipiac is led, offensively, by junior guard Felicia Barron, who averages 16.5 points per contest. Three Bobcat players average double-digit scoring totals.
Next up for the Red Flash is a home date with Sacred Heart, which enters the weekend with an 11-4 record and the league's only unblemished record at 4-0.
