READING, Pa. (Jan. 29, 2012) – The Saint Francis University bowling team concluded its stay at the Kutztown Baker Invitational with an 18^th-place finish in Sunday's final round which featured a bracket style of play.

Sunday's final round results were determined by three rounds of best-of-7 quad baker matches. In its first match of the day, the Red Flash (41-31) squared off against Adelphi but fell to them 4-2. SFU struggled on Sunday, falling in its next two matches as well to Monmouth and Florida A&M, placing them in 18^th.

No. 4 Maryland Eastern Shore defeated No. 2 Fairleigh Dickinson in the championship match to claim the top spot of Sunday's final round.

Saint Francis will host the second Northeast Conference tournament this upcoming weekend at Holiday Bowl in Altoona, Pa.
