Saint Francis wraps up its longest road trip of the season on Monday when it visits Central Connecticut State for the first time since the 2009-10 season.
Both teams come in looking to snap lengthy skids. Saint Francis has fallen short in each of its last four games, while the Blue Devils haven't won in seven contests.
The Red Flash are 2-1 in early league action, but have struggled to a 2-7 record away from DeGol Arena including a three losses in a seven-day road trip to the Pacific Northwest. Saint Francis' current seven-game swing includes stops in five states and will officially end when the Flash plays its first home game in 34 days on Jan. 14.
Central Connecticut came up short in a pair of visits to Loretto a season ago – once during the regular season and then again in the Northeast Conference Tournament Semifinals. The Blue Devils have dropped their last four matchups with SFU dating back to the 2008-09 season.
CCSU, which is one of two teams with an 0-3 NEC record, is led on offense by junior guard Jaclyn Babe, who averages 15.6 points per outing. Her sister Jessica is the squad's leading rebounder, with 7.0 a game.
