The biggest rebounding difference was when the Flash beat Bucknell and out-rebounded them 51-46. Rebecca Keegan (Jessup, Pa./Valley View) has led the bench with by averaging 6.7 points per game, including an 11 point effort against Akron, one point shy of tying her career-high.

SETTING THE STAGE
Saint Francis enters Tuesday game looking to match the best start in program history. SFU opened the season by knocking off preseason MEAC favorite Howard and then grinded out a win against Bucknell on the road before holding on for a win Sunday against Akron. The Flash have started 3-0 for just the third time in program history and SFU has started 4-0 just once. Saint Francis enters Tuesday's meeting with Ohio State averaging 68.3-points a game and is only allowing 62.7. SFU enters the week as the second best rebounding team in the Northeast Conference pulling down 43.0 a game. One of the keys to the fast start for SFU has been sharing the basketball as SFU averages 14.0 assists a game, a mark that ranks second in the NEC. Alli Williams (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) has been leading the way for the Red Flash in 2012-13 and enters the meeting with theBuckeyes averaging 21.3 points, (fifth in the NEC) and 14.7 rebounds (first in the NEC) a game. Williams also ranks tied for fifth in the league in steals averaging 3.67 a contest.

LAST TIME OUT: SFU 74, AKRON 73
Alli Williams (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) led the Red Flash to just their third 3-0 start in school history with another strong effort racking up 22 points with 13 rebounds and seven assists. The Zips (3-1, 0-0) struggled to get their leading scorer Rachel Tecca started in the first half. Tecca, who entered the game averaging 22 points a game was limited to just two in the first half thanks to a solid defensive effort by Shene Fleming (Dayton, Ohio/Chaminade-Julienne) and limited minutes due to foul trouble. Nickia Gibbs (Greenbelt, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt) also posted a solid effort for SFU with 15 points, seven boards and four assists.

The Zips rallied from down as many as 16 in the second half and took the lead with 48 seconds remaining but Fleming dropped in a layup with 31 seconds left to give the Flash the lead for good. Kacie Cassell missed a layup with nine seconds left and Fleming secured the rebound for the Flash. The junior forward missed the front end of the one-and-one opportunity giving Akron one last opportunity but the half-court shot came up short.
