Saint Francis U wraps up a three-game road trip with a 7 p.m. visit to Lafayette on Tuesday. The Leopards are the third of five Patriot League schools on the Red Flash schedule this season. Previously, SFU fell to Colgate (85-67) and American (61-51).
Lafayette has also taken its lumps in the early season, en route to its current 2-7 mark. The Leopards owe three of their setbacks to Northeast Conference squads, including a split against LIU Brooklyn. The Blackbirds dropped the Nov. 12 meeting, 98-94 (OT), but turned the tables on the Leopards on Dec. 1, winning 71-60.
Sophomore forward Dan Trist leads Lafayette's four players who average double-digit point totals with 15.2. The Leopards – who are out-rebounded by nearly nine boards per game – are paced be Levi Giese on the glass (4.1).
Forward
Earl Brown (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's matchup. The sophomore sat out the game at American for observation of concussion-like symptoms.
The Red Flash plays its first home game in 17 days when Lehigh visits DeGol Arena on Saturday.
