Alli Williams (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) continues to move up the all-time scoring list as well and now sits just 99 points away from becoming the first SFU junior to record 1,000-career points since Lilley did it in the 2010-11 season. Williams also continues to move up the all-time rebounding chart and sits just 11 rebounds from 550 and just 12 boards away from tying Diane Carey for 14th all-time in SFU history.
SFU VS. THE PATRIOT LEAGUE
The Red Flash are seeking their second win of the season against an opponent out of the Patriot League, having already defeated Bucknell on the road earlier this season. Saint Francis looks to keep its three-game winning streak against the Patriot League alive, as SFU has not lost to a Patriot League foe since Nov. 20, 2009 when Lehigh bested the Flash, 75-63.
SETTING THE STAGE
The Red Flash enters Saturday's game against Colgate looking to end a two-game losing streak before heading into an 11-day break for finals. Saint Francis opened the season with three consecutive wins but have dropped three of its last four including its last two consecutively. Saint Francis has lost all three of its games this season in which it was held to 54 points or fewer but when the Flash hit 60 or more points they are a perfect 4-0. Colgate comes into Saturday's contest with a 3-5 overall record and fresh off a 67-48 win at home against Columbia Wednesday. The Raiders boast a pair of Northeast Conference wins already this season knocking off Robert Morris at home (Nov. 11, 71-55) and LIU Brooklyn (Nov. 23, 75-61) on the road. Sacred Heart took down the Raiders, Dec. 1, in Fairfield in a tight 59-53 contest.
SFU has struggled its past two games to generate offense and have been limited to just 82 combined points in its last two games.
Alli Williams (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) leads the Flash offensively averaging 16.9 points a game while also pulling in 9.3 rebounds a contest. In her last two games, Williams registered a combined 12 points in her last two games and has gone 3-for-23 (13.0-percent) from the field.
Hailey Carangelo (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon Catholic) leads SFU in plus/minus this season holding an excellent mark of plus-23 on the season as SFU has scored 112 points with her on the floor while only allowing 89 points.
Shene Fleming (Dayton, Ohio/Chaminade-Julienne) has struggled the past two games with a combined nine points and 12 rebounds against a pair of Atlantic 10 foes. Fleming, who missed all of last season due to injury, owns three double-digit scoring efforts and has collected five or more rebounds in five games this season.
Colgate, much like Duquesne, features a balanced attack with four players averaging seven or more points a game this season. The Raiders started the season 2-2 before suffering a three-game losing streak, which Colgate ended Wednesday with its win at home against Columbia. The Raiders are led on offense by Missy Repoli, who averages 10.8-points a game, and enters the meeting with SFU coming off a career-high 19-point performance against Columbia. The preseason Patriot League Poll picked the Raiders tied for seventh with Bucknell, who SFU defeated earlier this season on the road, 62-54.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN
The Red Flash are in the middle of a five-game road trip to close out the 2012 calendar year and currently own a record of 2-2 on the road this season. SFU owns a 37.8 shooting percentage on the road this season which ranks ahead of their 36.6 home shooting percentage. The Flash are giving up the same number of points on the road that they are at home at a clip of 65-points a contest but at home SFU averages 62.3-points a game while they average just 58.8 on the road. The Flash have alternated wins and losses on the road this season and are coming off a tough loss at Duquesne. Colgate has been good at home with two of its three wins coming in Huntington Gymnasium and both have come in the Raiders last two home contests.

LAST TIME OUT:
DUQUESNE 69, SFU 38
SFU fell behind early and could not recover on the road against Duquesne Wednesday and fell for just the third time this season, 69-38.
Nickia Gibbs (Greenbelt, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt) posted 10 points and four rebounds for the Red Flash (4-3, 0-0) but it was not enough against a Duke's (7-1, 0-0) team that had three players in double figures led by Wumi Agunbiade, who posted 22 points and 11 rebounds. Duquesne, who was receiving votes in this week's national poll, controlled the boards and out-rebounded SFU 54-32 and also collected 23 offense boards. Duquesne used the offensive boards to generate 28 second-chance points.
Saint Francis went scoreless over the first 3:37 of the game and the early struggles set the stage for a day of scoring woes for SFU. The Dukes opened the game on a 27-6 run over the first 9:50 of the game, but the Red Flash rallied by stepping up their defensive effort and limited Duquesne to just four points the rest of the half. SFU also added 15 points to its total before the intermission and cut the Dukes lead to 31-21 at halftime. Saint Francis could not carry the late first half momentum to the second half were outscored 26-to-7 to start the half. Alli Williams (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) left the game early in the second half with an injury and did not return.
