LORETTO, Pa. (Feb. 3, 2012)
– The Saint Francis University men's basketball team travels to Staten Island, N.Y. Saturday for a 7 p.m. showdown with the Wagner Seahawks.

FLASH FACTS
- The Red Flash enter Saturday on a three-game losing skid after falling at Mount St. Mary's Thursday 64-51. The Seahawks are coming off a Robert Morris Thursday 80-69.

- Scott Eatherton (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) had his streak of four consecutive road double-doubles come to an end Thursday as the SFU sophomore was held to just four points and three rebounds. The three rebounds and four points both match season-low marks for the Hershey, Pa. native, who leads SFU in scoring and rebounding.

- The only other time this season, Eatherton posted four points in a game this season he responded with 20 points and eight rebounds.

- Last season the Red Flash and the Seahawks split a pair of meetings with each team winning on their home court.

- Earl Brown (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) has posted back-to-back double-digit performances after earning just one in his first 19 games. The SFU rookie has also collected four or more rebounds in his last three games after doing it just two in his first 18 college contests.

- Stephon Whyatt (Jersey City, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) tallied double-digits Thursday for the second time in three games after going eight games without a double-digit scoring effort.

- Tony Peter tied a career in point in an NEC game Thursday, the junior tallied eight points on 4-of-5 shooting in just 10 minutes of action.

- Ollie Jackson (Dallas, Texas/Pinkston ) posted just three points Thursday after racking up a career-high 14 against LIU Brooklyn last Saturday. The SFU rookie guard has yet to tally back-to-back double-digit scoring efforts this season.

- Anthony Ervin (Chesterfield, Va./Fork Union Military Academy) posted just single digits against Mount St. Mary's on Thursday. The junior has only posted three consecutive single digit scoring efforts once this season.

- Kameron Ritter has tallied 21 assists in his last four games with just 11 turnovers in the same span. However the sophomore guard tallied a season-high six turnovers at Mount St. Mary's Thursday.

- The Red Flash bench posted 22 points Thursday the most an SFU bench has tallied on the road this season. The number looks even more impressive as SFU has just four active reserves for the game.

- The SFU bench posted its highest point total since Dec. 10 and did it efficiently on 9-of-13 shooting. Whyatt led the bench scoring with 12.

- The Red Flash tied a season low with just two second-chance points. SFU pulled down just five offensive rebounds in the game a number Mount St. Mary's tripled.

SFU VS. WAGNER
Last season the Seahawks and the Red Flash split a pair of meetings with SFU winning in Loretto and the Wagner winning in Staten Island. The Red Flash have not defeated the Seahawks on their home floor since Jan. 19, 2006. The Red Flash hold a 32-27 record all-time against Wagner.

WHYATT MORE THAN JUST A SHOOTER
Freshman guard Stephon Whyatt (Jersey City, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) is 4-of-7 from behind the 3-point arc in his last three games but the freshman continues to develop as a passer as well.  Since going back-to-back games without an assists at CCSU and Bryant, Whyatt has 22 helpers and has earned an assists-to-turnover ratio of one or better in seven consecutive games. In his last seven games, Whyatt holds an assist-to-turnover mark of 22/14. In his last three games, the SFU rookie has scored in double-digits twice and owns a 9/4 assist-to-turnover mark.

BROWN CONTINUES SURGE
In SFU's meeting with Fairleigh Dickinson on Jan. 21, Earl Brown (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) did not see action, since then the freshman has been on a hot streak. The rookie forward posted a season-high eight rebounds against St. Francis (NY) and then tallied season-highs in points and steals against LIU Brooklyn. In his last three games, Brown averages 9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.1 steals, 1.1 assists and 1.1 blocks. Brown has scored in double-figures twice in the past two games after just one double-digit performance in his first 17 games.
