Game #16 Preview: Quinnipiac at Saint Francis

FULL PREGAME RELEASE (pdf)

The Saint Francis Red Flash looks to rebound after three straight Northeast Conference setbacks Thursday night with a matchup against Quinnipiac. The contest tips off SFU's longest home stand of the season – four games.

The Bobcats (5-11; 1-3) began conference play with a split before dropping games at Bryant and vs. Sacred Heart. On Monday, QU wrapped up non-conference play with a 70-64 loss at Hampton. Quinnipiac – which makes its final regular season appearance as an NEC member at DeGol Arena – enters the game having lost five of its last six.

Junior forward Ike Azotam led the Bobcats in its most recent game at Hampton with 13 points and 11 total rebounds. He is the leading scorer through 16 games for Quinnipiac, averaging 13.8 points per game.

Saint Francis is 6-7 all time against the Bobcats in Sweet Loretto.

The Red Flash returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Sacred Heart for a televised 2 p.m. game.
