WELCOME TO THE TRACK MEET
Of the 345 teams in division I women's basketball only six run at a faster pace then the Red Flash. When Joe Haigh took over the women's basketball program, one thing he talked about was “playing fast” and generating lots of possession. Over the first 12 games of his career this has been reflected as the Flash currently rank seventh nationally in possessions per 40 minutes. The Flash average 81.1 possessions a game, a mark which ranks higher than every NCAA Division I men's program in the country.

FOR THE RECORD
Brittany Lilley (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) moved past Beth Barnabei on the Saint Francis all-time scoring list in the Wright State game and now sits alone in 19th-place, 18 points behind matching Cheril Meier for 18th. Alli Williams (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) continue her climb up the all-time scoring list and became the 22nd member of SFU's 1,000-point club against Bryant and moved into 21st on the all-time scoring list. The junior forward needs just 14 point to tie Beth Barnabei for 20th all-time. Williams also continues to move up the all-time rebounding chart and sits five rebounds away from becoming the 12th player in SFU history to record 600-career rebounds.

BESTED BY THE BENCH
The Red Flash has gotten some good performances from its bench so far this season and SFU enters the game with Bryant averaging 15.3-points a game in bench scoring. The Flash have been feast or famine in defending opponents' benches. Three times this season, SFU has limited its opponents' benches to fewer than 10 points including a shutout of Howard's bench in the season opener. However, thrice this season SFU has allowed an opponents' bench to score more than 40. Against No. 5 Notre Dame SFU racked up 19 points from its reserves and in SFU's season opener the Flash bench tallied 17 points led by 11 from Brooklyn Taylor (Greenville, Pa./Greenville).

SETTING THE STAGE
Saint Francis welcomes Central Connecticut State Monday in the final game of a brief two-game home stand. The Red Flash opened NEC action Saturday by holding off a second half charge by Bryant to start league play 1-0. CCSU enters Monday coming off a loss to Robert Morris in Pittsburgh. The Blue Devils were limited to just 20 first half points against the Colonials and fell 65-48. Last season, the SFU swept its series with the Blue Devils but the Red Flash needed a 86-83 win in double overtime to do it. All-time, the Flash leads the series between the two schools with a record of 20-7 and SFU currently holds a six-game winning streak in the series. The Flash have not lost to CCSU in Loretto since Jan. 17, 2009. Both teams enter Monday's meeting with a record of 2-3 in their last five games.

The Red Flash enter Monday with the second-highest scoring offense the NEC averaging 66.2 points a game, but SFU has struggled on defense allowing the second-most points a game in the league (68.0). Hot shooting has keyed SFU's big offense numbers as they rank second in the conference in shooting percentage (39.7-percent) through 11 games. One strong point for the Flash defense has been from 3-point range, as SFU boasts the best 3-point field goal defense in the NEC. Alli Williams (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) lead the SFU offense and enters Monday as the top scorer in the Northeast Conference averaging 19.4 points a game. Williams also ranks first on the Flash in rebounds and fourth in the Northeast Conference. Shene Fleming (Dayton, Ohio/Chaminade-Julienne) sits second in the NEC in shooting percentage, as she is connecting on 50.6-percent of her shots. Fleming also ranks second on the team in rebounding averaging 6.1-boards a game and is coming off a 10-rebound performance against Bryant. Alexa Hayward (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) had her hot streak slowed against Bryant as the sophomore connected on a pair of 3-pointers but was limited to just 14-minutes after suffering an injury.

CCSU comes into its meeting with the Red Flash with a 6-6 overall record but the Blue Devils have struggled on the road and are just 2-4 in away contests this season. A pair of sisters, Jaclyn Babe and Jessica Babe, leads the Blue Devils offensively. Jaclyn Babe averages 16.2 points a game and stands as the only CCSU player averaging double figures entering Monday. Jessica Babe leads CCSU in rebounding averaging 6.5 a contest and sits second in scoring (9.3 ppg) on a Blue Devils squad averaging 58.0 points a game. The Babe sisters have done their damage from behind the 3-point arc, connecting of 21 3-pointers this season. The rest of CCSU squad combined has just eight 3-point makes.

ROOKIE HEATING UP
After starting the season slowly, Brooklyn Taylor (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) posted a pair of solid showings at the Wright State Invitational. Taylor headed into the Wright State Invitational without a made 3-pointer but the rookie connected on four 3-pointers in the tournament. Taylor posted a season-high 11 points in her first Northeast Conference game and connected on three 3-pointers against Bryant and went 3-for-6 from 3-point range.
