Fresh off its first win of the 2013-14 campaign, the Red Flash will hit the road on Wednesday as it tips off a four-game road swing with a visit to Dayton. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.
The Flyers are coming off of a season-opening, 81-80, win over IPFW. Sophomore Dyshawn Pierre led UD with 24 points and eight rebounds.
Dayton is the second of four Atlantic 10 schools on the slate for the Red Flash this season. The Flyers were picked to finish seventh in the 13-team league in 2013-14, following up a first-round exit in the A-10 tournament a season ago.
Wednesday's meeting marks the first in 47 years between the Red Flash and Flyers. Dayton holds a 1-5 edge in the all-time series.
Saint Francis is the first of two Northeast Conference opponents that the Flyers will face at home. UD will welcome St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday.
The Red Flash , which is at the halfway point of a three-games-in-six-days stretch, will visit Bucknell for a 7 p.m. game on Saturday.
