Saint Francis U Red Flash (2-5) at Florida Gators (6-3)

LORETTO, Pa. (Dec. 16, 2013) - The Saint Francis University women's basketball team starts its six-game tilt away from Loretto on Tuesday evening as the Flash takes on the University of Florida.

SFU will spend a week in the 'Sunshine State' also playing in a tournament hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University. The Frankies will play the host school on Dec. 20 followed by Tulane on Dec. 21.

Saint Francis is coming off back-to-back setbacks against Buffalo and Duquesne, while the Gators are sporting a 6-3 record so far in 2013-14. UF is on a current two-game winning streak after victories over Oregon State (73-70) and Troy (104-74).

This will mark the first ever meeting between the two institutions in women's basketball, however the SFU men's team took on Florida during the 1994-95 season.
