FULL PREGAME RELEASE (pdf)

The Saint Francis U men's basketball team looks to make it two wins in a row as they take on Robert Morris for the second time this season Wednesday night.

Both teams are coming off a split doubleheader on the Brooklyn, N.Y. swing. St. Francis Brooklyn bested the Colonials 71-61 last Thursday but two days later it was the Red Flash who bested St. Francis Brooklyn 64-61.

Robert Morris' scoring efforts are led by Karvel Anderson who is averaging 12.7 points per game. Anderson is a threat from 3-point range, connecting on nearly 44 percent of shots from beyond the arc. Lucky Jones heads the rebounding efforts of RMU, pulling in 6.0 rebounds per contest.

The Red Flash are not only looking for its second consecutive win on the season, but are also looking to snap a 10-game losing streak to Robert Morris. The last time the Flash overtook the Colonials was back in the 2007-08 season.

SFU is 13-18 all-time in Moon Township, Pa.

Wednesday night's game will be the third time this season the Flash can be seen on ESPN3.

Saint Francis returns home to Sweet Loretto on Saturday for an evening matchup with Mount St. Mary's. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
