The Saint Francis U men's basketball team looks to get back in the win column Saturday evening as they welcome ninth place Mount St. Mary's to DeGol Arena.
The Mountaineers are coming off a 74-65 loss to Wagner Wednesday night, but had previously rolled two in a row, beating Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart.
Saint Francis will have to keep an eye out for junior guard Rashad Whack, the Mount's leading scorer in 2012-13. Whack is averaging 13.3 points per game this season but over the last two contests, has put up an average of 27.0 points per game. In a win over Sacred Heart, Whack posted a career-high 35 points and has hit nearly 55 percent of his shots from three-point range over those two games.
Despite not having won against the Mount in five games, the Flash hold a winning record over the Mountaineers in Sweet Loretto. Saint Francis is 16-9 (.640) all-time versus the Mount at home.
Following Saturday's matchup, it's back to the road for the Red Flash. SFU makes the Connecticut trip next week to take on Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart for the second time this season.
