SMYRNA, Tenn. (March 16, 2013) - On day two of the Music City Classic the Red Flash turned the tide and posted a 4-2 record on Saturday.

Match scores for Saturday's traditional format finished as follows: SFU vs. Prairie View 930-779 W; SFU vs. Southern 920-803 W; SFU vs. Vanderbilt 833-1038 L; SFU vs. Alabama State 1029-948 W; SFU vs. Alabama Birmingham 888-864 W and SFU vs. Stephen Austin 962-963 L.
Freshman Ashley Howe continued to anchor the Red Flash team with a five game traditional average of 211.6, followed by sophomores
Christina Leid (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) and
Lauren Johnson (Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln Southeast) with a 193.0 and 185.0 average, respectively, for four games.
SFU is currently 12th in the 29 team field heading into the match play rounds scheduled to resume at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
