READING, Pa. – The Saint Francis bowling team finished seventh of 26 teams in total pin fall after the first day of the KU Invitational on Friday. The Red Flash went 4-2 on the day in Quad-Baker matches. Teams were matched up and the team with the highest total pin fall after four Baker games is declared the winner.
"Our preparation and plan showed itself very well and the ladies performed so well," Saint Francis head coach
Tom Falbo said. "I could have done a better job at coaching this group in those final two matches, but they were resilient and fought through the end. Ending up 4-2 and sitting high in this field after day one is definitely the positive we can take from today."
The KU Invitational continues tomorrow. The event can be viewed via webcast at http://www.bowl.com/livestream/.
